On the internet, there is a widely popular saying: "Life is a wilderness." I resonate deeply with this phrase. Ever since I was young, I have immersed myself in an ocean of novels, biographies, and essays. Books have not only enriched my inner world but also endowed me with a remarkably rich imagination. Because of this, I have had countless romantic notions about what my "side hustle" in life could be.
During my middle school years, I yearned desperately to become a writer. I dreamed of sketching the vast world with the tip of my pen and telling the world vibrant and fascinating stories through my words. To this day, this remains a pursuit I have never abandoned. I continue to learn the craft of writing, maintain my reading habits, and occasionally publish my own writings online. Although I have not yet achieved any worldly success, I still find immense joy in it and keep cultivating my passion quietly.
As my life experiences have grown, my fantasies about side hustles have become even more unique and diverse. I find myself yearning to be a mysterious tarot reader to listen to people's inner thoughts, a tireless tour guide to measure the vastness of the world, or a part-time teacher to pass on knowledge and warmth. For practical reasons, I have tried a wide variety of part-time jobs alongside my studies. These experiences have not only shown me the multifaceted nature of life but also solidified a belief: my side hustle does not necessarily have to be driven solely by money; rather, it should be a tangible expression of my inner passions.
If the main storyline of my life is like a pre-laid track, extending forward step by step, then I sincerely hope my side hustle can transform into a gentle breeze in my life. Unbound by the tracks, it can travel freely to wherever my heart desires.
